AUTOSPOT is the world first automated and contactless laser acoustics spot weld in-line inspection system.
AUTOSPOT main goal is to develop a novel, non-destructive, and automated ultrasonic inspection system, based on the latest optical microphone technology, for in-line detection and characterization of spot weld defects.
Innerspec, experts in industrial automation and integrated NDT solutions development, will be responsible for developing the demonstrator to the highest standards, easing the transition from prototype to commercial product.
The consortium is formed by the following companies: Xarion Laser Acoustics GmbH, Institute of Electrical Measurement and Sensor Systems, and Innerspec Technologies Europe S.L.
