AUTOmated load-measuring BOLT tightening tool. AUTOBOLT prevents cumbersome and heavy tool handling and allows for 10% accurate pre-tension. After an ultrasonic measurement, AUTOBOLT knows which specific bolt requires re-tightened.

AUTOSPOT Project

World first automated and contactless laser acoustics spot weld in-line inspection system. Its main goal is to develop a novel, non-destructive, and automated ultrasonic inspection system, for in-line detection and characterization of spot weld defects.

STEELAR Project

STEELAR Project

Steel components assessment using a novel non-destructive residual stress ultrasonic technology. Develops an innovative NDT technology able to assess residual stress levels in rolled products and rolling rolls, providing a decision-aiding tool that allow operators to optimize manufacturing processes.

FUSION FUTURE Project

Investigates new materials, processes and advanced technologies to reach a sustainable Nuclear Fusion energy. This project has the general objective of investigating new materials, processes and advanced technologies that will contribute to solving the main critical aspects on the path to reach a sustainable Nuclear Fusion energy.

ALMA Project

Advanced Light Materials and Processes for the Eco-Design of Electric Vehicles. The main objective of ALMA is the development of a novel electric vehicle structure for a passenger car with reduced weight and environmental impact thanks to the adoption of an integrated circular approach.

BOLT-IN Project

BOLT-IN Project

Bolt-load in-service inspection and monitoring through novel NDT technologies. The goal of BOLT-IN is to determine the technical and commercial feasibility of a new bolt load measurement technique in the Australian market.

LOPEMAT Project

LOPEMAT Project

Development of low-power EMAT instrumentation for in-service corrosion inspection and monitoring in high temperature assets. Through the LOPEMAT project, Innerspec aims to develop and validate the first prototype of a of low-power EMAT system for normal beam and guided wave generation.

CORUS Project

Corrosion prediction and detection by ultrasonic testing in metallic tanks and piping filled with chemicals. Trough the CORUS project, Innerspec Technologies has developed a reliable method and the necessary tools for the detection, quantification and forecasting of wall-loss and corrosion in tank bottom floors and pipeline segment containing chemical products, without the need to empty the contents or decommission said assets.

Research and development in automatic characterization and classification technology using EMATs and clustering techniques. AUTÉNTICO’s objective is to develop a new range of EMAT transducers able to classify metallic materials in different families.

OPTIBLANKS Project

Through Optiblanks Project, Innerspec Technologies will overcome the limitations of automotive TWB manufacturing process weld quality control with a novel hybrid technology approach. This new inspection system will enable 100% inspection of laser welded parts to identify defects such as porosity, lack of penetration, lack of side wall fusion, etc...

SOJA Project

Slab Surface Cracks Detection using EMAT Technology. The aim of the project is to maximize the efficiency of the steel continuous casting production process by developing an integrated solution which let slab manufacturers predict, detect and avoid defects in advanced stages of the process.

SPMRail Project

Portable Residual Stress Measurement of Rail Wheels. Innerspec Technologies has developed the first, portable, battery-operated handheld instrument that can be used to provide rail-side inspections and facilitate operation in any environment. The instrument is coupled with a proprietary, patent-pending, dual-channel sensor that does not need to be rotated during inspection thus simplifying the operation, increasing the reliability and accuracy of results, and reducing complexity and inspection cycle time.

New EMAT Applications in Aerospace and Rail Sector. Innerspec Technologies developed new inspection procedures and specific EMAT instrumentation which targeted the improvement of conventional techniques for cracks detection such as X-Ray or Magnetic Particle Analysis. These techniques show operational difficulties and safety hazards in contrast with EMAT technology.
